HYPROP and KSAT sample rings
Analyze the sample, not the container
These sample rings and hammering holders are designed for use with HYPROP and KSAT lab instruments. Precision engineering behind each sample cup—from tare weights and ID-numbers laser imprinted on the side to low-friction polishes to minimize soil compaction—provide peace of mind that you are measuring the properties of your soil, not your sample ring.
HYPROP and KSAT devices are designed to use UMS SZ250 sample rings, which hold a 250 mL sample. The stainless steel cups have an inner diameter of 80mm (3 in). Use with a UMS hammering holder SZA250.
Apply the 2-inch adapter to use UMS SZ100 sample rings, which hold a 100 mL sample. The stainless steel cups have an inner diameter of 50 mm (2 in). Use with the UMS hammering holder SZA100.
Additional lids can be ordered for each sample ring size.
