The TEROS 54 installation and removal tools help minimize the effects of preferential flow after installation and they make sensor removal at the end of season a breeze. A 2 cm (25/32 in) masonry drill bit help you drill a borehole at the correct angle and depth to minimize air gaps between the sensor and soil. Once the borehole has been drilled, only light pressure is necessary to push the TEROS 54 into place.
At the end of season, the removal tool makes it easy to extract the TEROS 54 without excavation or sensor damage. Simply pull the probe from the ground and store it away until next season.
