TEMPOS SH-3 dual-needle (3 cm)

Measure the diffusivity and heat capacity of solid materials

The TEMPOS SH-3 needle is used to measure the thermal properties of solid materials. The TEMPOS low-power mode decreases the heat input to the needle, allowing you to measure frozen substances with a lower likelihood of phase change.

The SH-3 is ideal for measuring volumetric specific heat capacity and thermal diffusivity, and it performs well with high-viscosity liquids, moist soil, granular materials, and cured concrete or rock.

The SH-3 needle should be used with the included needle guide. Calibrate it using the SH-3 Delrin® verification block.
