Verified readings every time

TEMPOS KS-3/KS-3i, TR-3, TR-4, and RK-3 sensor readings should be verified using the glycerin provided with the device. METER supplies replacement glycerin as well as other accessories to ensure you always get the most accurate data from your device.

Glycerin should be replaced annually, and each bottle is labeled with an expiration date. Use USP-grade glycerin or order a replacement vial. Vials of glycerin and Delrin cylinders (for use with the SH-3 needle) can be ordered from METER.

Each glycerin bottle comes with several replacement septum lids, through which the TEMPOS needles are inserted during the verification process. If the lid begins to leak after several uses, it should be replaced. Additional lids can be ordered from METER.

Ensure a proper verification

METER offers two verification jigs to ensure proper needle insertion into each glycerin bottle. These jigs are designed for the single-needle and dual-needle TEMPOS sensors, respectively, holding the needle(s) steady without allowing contact with the bottle itself.
